Pet supply store
Open now · closes 6:00 PMCompanion’s Animal Apothecary is a locally owned pet health store at 3171 12 Mile Road in downtown Berkley, MI. Founded by pharmacist Boris Krasnov and teacher Chelsea Krasnov, the business focuses on helping dog and cat owners understand options between veterinary care and over-the-counter health products. It researches and selects both conventional and natural products, and formulates and makes supportive topical products in the store. The store’s approach starts with an animal’s needs, what the owner has already tried, and what can realistically fit into a daily routine. Guidance covers product differences, how to use a chosen product, what to expect afterward, and when veterinary follow-up or help from another pet professional is appropriate. In-store shopping and on-site services are available, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking. The business is listed as women-owned and accepts credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments.
